Carrie Ermence is the CEO and Founder of Lone Star Roots, a company that celebrates the unique spirit of Texas through stylish, comfortable, and spirited apparel. With a passion for community and a commitment to quality, Carrie has built Lone Star Roots into a brand that allows Texans and Texas enthusiasts to carry a piece of the Lone Star State with them wherever they go.
Her inspiration for Lone Star Roots stemmed from her recognition of the deep connection people feel to Texas, whether they’re lifelong residents or individuals who have moved away but still carry the state in their hearts. Lone Star Roots embodies this connection, offering products that reflect Texas pride while supporting local, state, and national small businesses.

Our logo, featuring a heart over Texas—specifically the Dallas-Fort Worth area—symbolizes our love for Texas and pays tribute to our late father, who found joy in this state. Heart disease prevention is important to us, and we donate a portion of our sales to the American Heart Association in his memory.
